Marisol Sportfishing is a charter boat in San Diego, CA. We are a private six pack sportfishing charter boat. Marisol is a 2006 31’ Tiara Open sportfisher with twin Volvo Penta diesel engines that have a 200 mile range. We have the latest in Simrad electronics, 3 vhf radios, autopilot, epirb, radar, sonar as well as fly by wire electronic engine management. Whenever you’re sportfishing in San Diego, be sure the charter boat is equipped with safe and working electronics.
Marisol is equipped with two bait tanks; the primary is an Offshore 3 scoop tank and the secondary is a 1 scoop factory tank. This ensures that we never run out of bait! The beam width of Marisol is 13’. This means that there is plenty of room to fish next to your friends or family without being too crowded. This is important especially when everybody on board is hooked up to a fish. Marisol is outfitted with a bathroom, 3 freshwater sinks, ice, a refrigerator, seating for 7 and an enclosure for when you want to get out of the sun. Our tuna tower is great when we are underway looking for fish. This gives us a great advantage over the smaller boats to spot kelp paddies and moving bait and tuna which are both signs of activity. We have found countless amounts of kelps on the tower. Our cruising speed is 23 knots, 26 mph, which gets us to the fish quickly. That means more time for the customer to spend on catching the water.
